French-Canadian Migration

Description

This is based on the story my Grandma told me about her Grandfather. He was a chef who came to the States from Quebec during the huge French-Canadian migration. She remembers that he had a thing for putting out the French and American flags at dinner and put up even more flags during French and American holidays. It didn't matter if it was a French holiday or American, he put both flags up. (So I guess he was an US/France shipper.) Of course at the time (I'm guessing he came around 1870-1880's before he had kids), Canada's (and Quebec's) flag was the Union Jack so it's not surprising that it was absent.

I tried my best to follow manga volume 2's tiny, little sketch of Quebec. I think I did OK. While America would be more of an uncle than brother, Quebec is known to have dreams (also known as Canada's nightmare) of becoming a country and causing the North American Twins to become the North American Triplets.

Québec has a longstanding love affair with USA; he keeps freeloading at Florida's house. LOL
