Late-Nite – Hetalia Drabble #3-  Fem!US(Amelia)/Russia(Ivan)

Ivan reached for the TV remote on the coffee table in front of him and turned off the TV.
He set the remote back down and tapped his girlfriend who currently laid on top of him. While they watched TV shows, she liked to use him as her own personal mattress.  

"Amelia, it is time to get off me."

"Let's just sleep on the couch," Amelia yawned. "You're a fine pillow."

"Nyet," Ivan scooted out from under her and stood up as she rolled off his back. "I do not think so. It is late and we have to be up early tomorrow."

"Boooooo," Amelia whined.

"We cannot sleep on the couch. Get up now."

"Noooo…"

"Come on… Get up and walk to your bed."

"I don't want to walk to the bedroom. Carry me!"

Ivan sighed. "My dear, why do you have to be a royal pain-in-the-butt all the time?"

"Hmph," Amelia glared. "I'm not a royal pain-in-the-butt!"

"But you are a royal pain-in-the-butt."

"No."

"You might not think so but you are truly a royal pain-in-the-butt."  

"No, I can't be a royal pain-in-the-butt!"

"Why not?" Ivan inquired.

"When you think about it, there's no way I can be a royal pain-in-the-butt."

"I do not understand."

"Because there's no royalty in America!"

Ivan rubbed his temple. "So you are a presidential pain-in-the-butt?"

"Exactly," Amelia boasted and she lifted her arms. "And you wouldn't have me any other way. Now carry me!"    

"I do not remember agreeing to be your Air Force One, Ms. President," he joked as he grabbed her arms. He placed her over his shoulder and she hummed "Hail to the Chief" as they made their way back to the bedroom.
